A botnet is a network of compromised machines that can be remotely controlled by an attacker. And they can do whatever they want with the bots: Searching for sensitive information on all compromised machines and sending these files to another machine, DDoS-ing individuals or organizations, or enabling a keylogger and looking for PayPal or eBay account information. Most malware will disable your software and anti-virus updates. The procedures below address that problem: Remove the blocks, remove the malware and then update your computer.
